Salary Range
£25,000 - £30,000

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper and payroll administrator to become part of our growing outsourcing team. We are looking for someone who is a team player, confident to meet with clients and can see the bigger picture of the work they do within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping
• Bookkeeping from source documentation, including:
- Purchase invoice posting
- Sales invoice creation and posting
- Credit control
- Paying suppliers
- Bank reconciliations
- General ledger journals
- Month end journals such as prepayments, accruals and wages
• Accurately prepare VAT Returns under different VAT schemes
• Preparation of accounts up to trial balance, including reconciliation of all key balance sheet nominals

Payroll
• Ensure all clients payrolls are processed accurately and that payslips, statutory returns and reports are produced and validated in the agreed timeframe
• Ensure compliance with statutory and pension scheme requirements
• Implementing new starter information and HMRC tax notifications
• Processing leavers; including last payment calculations and creating P45’s
• Monthly PAYE liability reconciliation
• Producing and despatching employee tax documents
• Producing and sending HMRC Real Time Information and Pension electronic files
• Auto-enrolment pensions setup and processing

The successful applicants will need:
• Proven bookkeeping, payroll and VAT Return experience
• Solid understanding of the fundamentals of bookkeeping
• Good effective communication skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• To be confident meeting and working closely with client’s
• Experience of Xero, Sage, Key accounts and BrightPay would be ideal
• Ability to meet deadlines and works well under pressure

This is a very varied role and would suit someone who is part of fully AAT or CIMA qualified, with previous experience in industry as a bookkeeper and payroll administrator or with similar experience gained in practice – someone who is looking for a bit more variety, a challenge working with different clients and the opportunity to grow and develop. An interest in farming, land and estates and renewables would also be desirable.

We need a Private Client Tax Manager with an awareness of tax issues affecting HNWI, including those involved in family companies; trusts and estates; trading, investment and mixed partnerships.

This role will comprise both compliance and advisory.

We seek a proactive ACA/CTA (or equivalent) with the ability for identifying both problems and opportunities. Strong technical knowledge, with experience of a variety of business structures.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced management accountant to become part of our growing outsourcing team. We are looking for someone who is forward thinking, adaptive and willing to implement change.

Responsibilities:
• Preparation and review of Management Accounts, including budget vs actuals and forecasting
• Review work of the junior team.
• Development and training of the junior team
• Payroll reviews.
• Maintain and update client's accounting records.
• Accurately prepare and review VAT Returns.
• Assisting clients with improving their internal processes and procedures.
• Interim financial controller support to our clients as required.

The successful applicants will need:
• Sound experience of bookkeeping and preparation of VAT Returns.
• A good knowledge of VAT would be advantageous.
• Good effective communication skills.
• Ability to prepare management accounts, including key performance indicators, cash flows, budget vs actuals, for example.
• Good payroll experience and knowledge.
• Exceptional numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• To be confident meeting and working closely with client’s.
• Experience of Xero, Sage and Key accounts would be ideal.

We are looking for someone who is AAT qualified or qualified by experience of working in a firm of accountants. As part of this role you will be required to:

• Report to the Partners and Accounts Managers
• Assist Management in the preparation of accounts under FRS 102
(sole trade, partnership and limited company accounts)
• Assist in the preparation of corporate and income tax computations
• Undertake ad hoc work as requested by management
• Liaise with clients as necessary

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

• Good planning / time management skills
• Attention to detail / accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• A good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Be reliable
• Be a team player
• Prior experience of working with Caseware / IRIS Accountancy would be advantageous, but is not essential

We need a Corporate Tax Manager with an awareness of tax issues affecting HNWI. This role will comprise both compliance and advisory with a bias towards medium to large family owned companies.

We seek a proactive ACA/CTA with the ability for identifying both problems and opportunities. Strong technical knowledge, with experience of a variety of sectors, including renewables, food production, rural estates and leisure.
