Steve Terry

IT Director

Steve joined Chavereys in April 2019 having spent the last 20 years working in the fruit industry specialising in Finance, IT, Supermarket EDI/ASN, warehouse, pack house, QC, logistics, stock control, financial and operational control/reporting and implementation of BI solutions. Having gained a 2:1 honours degree from Loughborough in Accountancy & Financial Management in 1985, during his subsequent training with one small regional and two large international practices he worked on a wide range of audit clients from sole traders to listed companies as well as undertaking accounts preparation work for entertainment celebrities. Prior to leaving practice in 1992 for industry, he spent some time working in insolvency and corporate reconstruction. Soon after leaving practice, Steve held a Finance Director position with a plc during which time he was involved in financial and operational systems implementations together with a significant corporate acquisition, after which he managed and implemented the nationwide post acquisition integration process.

Steve has a wealth of practical and commercial experience gained across a wide range of industries and has extensive strategic and hands-on experience undertaking project scoping, planning, management and implementation across financial, operational and IT business segments.

Outside of work, Steve is a keen gardener and DIY enthusiast.
